Paypal Payment Setting Up
Hi

I'm getting some unusual errors after setting up my site with PayPal payments.

I had initially set the payment in Payment Setup at £10 GBP

But on 'link submission' payment page - it shows this, with the 'error message' about unsupported characters displayed in a red box.

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

List My House For Sale link submission (Lifetime) $10.00 1 $10.00

Total: $10.00
Total: $10.00 USD
You have entered unsupported characters for this field. Current available language character types are: European, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Thai. Please try again.

Payment set up on site for £10

I have since changed the payment in Payment Setup to $20 USD

This still produces the error message "You have entered unsupported characters for this field. Current available language character types are: European, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Thai. Please try again"

Any ideas as to whats wrong?

Thanks

How are you entering the amount?

$10.00 or just 10.00

Hi rascal

I entered amounts in Payment Setup as numbers without decimal places. (5, 10 & 20)

I've just setup these payment options to 'test' different amounts

List My House Advert

Single Payment:
$5.00: 6 Months
$10.00: 1 Year
$20.00: Lifetime

Each produces the same 'caution' on the paypal payment page:
You have entered unsupported characters for this field. Current available language character types are: European, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Thai. Please try again.

Go to Database and click on Repair Tables, then give it another try!

If you send me admin panel access as well as a user this is happening with and the particular link, I can take a quick look.
