I messed up my Links SQL. I don't know how to fix it and don't want to bother. There is data, but I have good backup. Can I reinstall it on top of this one?

Obviously being sure to backup your /admin/defs/ folder, just in case you have made any new fields etc

You can regenerate the .def files from the -->admin-->database area :) It's option #3 I think. But I think it's also done if you don't overwrite tables, but it's probably a good thing to do again anyway.
I'd back up the templates directory if you made a lot of changes (but his premise was the site was corrupted completely) and and possibly plugins if you bought any and don't have a back up.
