What is going on with your directory?

Im trying to browse it to add links but all the categories take you in circles. You click on sub-categories and it takes you back to the top level.

Sorry back to the point. You didn't copy the URL right.

It is id=<%ID%> not ID=<%ID%>

I've made quite a few updates to the plugin and will be releasing a new version later today or tommorrow.

I'll hopefully get Alexs' expert eye to check it over before releasing so there shouldn't be any problems this time :)

Kilroy,

I have had a My Bookmarks (favorite) script running via Links SQL v.1.13 for awhile.

if you want the script and also table layout, I could send it to you...but you'll have to de-bug it yourself, since I customized it to work with some hacked authentication codes I added in DBSQL...

Let me know.

Buh Bye!

Also, the version I wrote for LINKS SQL v.1.13 is NOT cookie-based...it uses a separate intersection table between the Links and Users table that stores the LinkID and UserID as FKs in the table.

I am also working on a SSI-based version that will show links in other non-Links SQL pages and also a non-SSI based add-on that will allow Users to show their links on their web sites/pages.

Buh Bye!

Eliot,
I would much appreciate it, I have modifed Links 1.13 too much to try to upgrade it yet, but I haven't added a favorites/mylinks yet. My email is jojones@sc.rr.com. I am in the military, and will be gone most of today and tommorrow, but I will post and let you know if I recieved it or not. Thanks again...
Kilroy...

Hi Paul. Could be me just being stupid, but I uploaded the file and it said the upload was successful. I then clicked on the 'Install' link, and I got the following error;

Error running installation code: Can't locate object method "error" via package "MyLinks_SQL" at (eval 1) line 110.

Any ideas? btw, looks like a very nice mod Smile

Thanks

Yeah it was a bug.

I've updated it since then but just have to wait for Alex to get back to me on something before I release the proper plugin.

Hi,

Ok guys, I've managed to get the plugin finished and Alex has been kind enough to add it to the GT server so you can grab a copy from your admin page.

When you install the plugin you can click "Edit" to configure the plugin.

The plugin checks for previous installations so in future when I update the code you can choose not to overwrite templates which is handy I think (thanks for the suggestion Alex).

Please let me know if you have any trouble and feel free to suggest any new features you'd like.

Thanks everyone for your interest.

HI, I've installed this plugig but......

A fatal error has occured:

Invalid method: site_html_fave_error (fave_error.html) at /home/mysite/cgi-bin/admin/Links/SiteHTML.pm line 201.

Please enable debugging in setup for more details.

Thanks in Advance

That means fave_error.html is not in your templates directory or you have renamed it or something.

It is included in the plugin tar so just make sure it exists with the other templates.

Same problem here, the fave_added.html's are not being written to the default template when the plugin is installed...
