XML results
I searched, found and copied the code. Probably wrong one cause its not working.
Can someone point out whats wrong with it please:

http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/links/search.cgi?query=*;isNew;xml_feed=1

Im trying to have an xml feed of only the isNew on the site.

Also, there are a bunch of different .htaccess codes going around of the feeds, but couldnt get a correct one to work.
Can someone tel me the code to make that look something like:

http://www.mysite.com/new.xml

How would I have a xml for each main category?

Thanks,

Juan Carlos

I dont have that plugin to hand - but from memory, I think you are accessing it correctly. If you upload the .tar file for the plugin, I'll have a look (don't have a copy of it to hand =))

The plugin doesnt have any options or anything,... just says this:

This plugin will allow you to display your search results in XML. You simply pass in xml_feed=1 to search.cgi, and the program will use xml_search_results.xml to display the search results. This is currently based off of the RSS 0.91 specification.

And according to this, thats what I have, I think...

Mmm, I seem to remember that there was a bug with the latest version of GLinks (anything over 3.0.4) .. but afraid I can't remember what it was, so can't suggest the fix, sorry :(

Try this: search.cgi?isNew=Yes;xml_feed=1

It worked. thanks DeadMan.

Andy, will your wonderful all in one plugin also work on the xml?

Id like to insert images and cut the descriptions since my full detailed page is shown and some are quite long.

Thanks

JC
