Bookmarks in beta3
At present Users wanting to bookmark links must be logged in.

I'd like to have people bookmark links without being logged in- and therefore do away with the need for them to become Users. This is because I will eventually be using GCommunity and want to control which applications individual Users can access.

I don't want users to be able to write comments, have multiple folders or allow other people to access their bookmarks- only store the links in a file for later use.

Is it possible to have people bookmark links without being logged in? would there be security implications? and how would I programme it?

(up until now I've used Andy's MyFaves plugin)

Thanks

If you want bookmarking feature without login, then the only solution is to store the bookmarks in cookie.
I remember maybe one of the bookmark plugins does the cookie way...
