Brewt (Expiry date)

Brewt (Expiry date)
Hello,

I have noticed that when a link is modified the expiry date changes to the modified date.

This makes no sense!

People can just modify their listing and be listed forever.

I do not want the expiry date to change if a link is modified, is there a fix.

Thanks,
Rascal

Hi,

I haven't been able to replicate this error. Can you provide more information on how it's occurring?

Hi,

A link was modified by owner and approved by admin, this is the result of the modification:

Add Date 2005-03-10 Mod Date 2005-06-18 isNew No
isChanged Yes isPopular No isValidated Yes Rating 0.00 Votes 0 Status 200 Date Checked 2005-06-11 00:00:00 Timestamp 20050618161436 ExpiryDate
2006/6/18 20:59:25

This link should expire 2006/3/10

"I made no modifications"

Thanks for answering my post!!

I don't see this problem either (the ExpiryDate is not getting set to the modification date). I did however find another bug where the ExpiryDate is getting adjusted when it shouldn't. When a link normally gets validated, the time that it took the admin to validate the link is added back to the ExpiryDate. This was also happening for a change validation - so current time minus last payment time was getting added to ExpiryDate. I'll put an update to fix this.
