Category name for related category

Category name for related category
It's smart that NG use related parent name as the name of related. Better see it in an example.

1) Top/Science/

2) Top/Education/Science/

Then I have 'Top/Education/Science/' as related in 'Top/Science/' , 'Education@' will show up under 'Top/Science/'. This is what we expected.

But if I have subcategory under Science, There will be problem.

1) Top/Science/Biology

2) Top/Education/Science/Biology

Then under 'Top/Science/Biology', 'Science@' will show up as the related category NOT 'Education@', because the NG use it's parent (NOT grandpa) name as default name.

Is there any way of choose or change the name of related category?

I wish Alex can add this feature of letting us select which parent name (parent, grandpa, grandgrandpa...) to use when relate one category to another.

Thanks,

Yanz

I agree with that. That's a big problem.

The best way, I think, should have a place to input "something" to show "something@" as related. If I do not input anything there, that means default, and process just like now.

I agree. You give the right way of doing that. Hope to see it in the final release.

Hi, Alex

Are you going add this feature to the final release? I really need it.

same here, it actually pretty much destroys the function of the @ category the way it is. An overid name field is essential.. please oh please :)

going to bump this up, really want a response on this one Alex, for me this is not a feature request but a bug report. @ categories is unusable in lots of applications because of the way it has been done. An over ride field is really 'essential'. Any chance of it.. pretty pllllleeeasse :)
