I wonder if users can delete their files?

I have tried to put "Delete" checkbox from the admin side to the user's form, but it is not working - file just isn't deleted. The only possibility I know of, how can user delete file, is to upload a new one. But I don't like it too much because if the file becomes obsolete and the user doesn't have a new one... well you know what i mean.

Is it possible to present user with the possibility to delete the file from the modify template?

But you might be interested in the following: I am developping an "Attachment" plugin, where users can attach files to a link. Users can upload files, modify the description etc, delete files. The admin is able to validate everything the user does (if you want to, so the attachments remain invisible until they are valideted, and they are not completely deleted until the admin deletes them).

Thank you Ivan for your response - I have overlooked it before, so I did it in a different way - user is just able to OVERWRITE the old file and I think it's enough :-)
