Mass Mailer
Do not have a problem with it at all. Some of my clients might though. The site I run accents very heavily on different spiritual beliefs and at times a mass mail may offend some groups though not by intent. Just belief systems.

Often most quality subscribe programmes offer differing groups that a client can subscribe to. I presume it would be possible to incorporate this with links however I have not see this done anywhere.

I perceive a hack as being a range of checkboxes that a person would be interested in - or more correctly, whats not ticked is what they are not interested in.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for that. The idea is right. What I had more in mind was something that could be dropped straight into links, more as a plugin. The possibility of having a cron that has its own email address and can pick up bounces and deal with them etc. linkssql is fairly state of the art and with the plugins etc plus what Andy and Pugdog are doing the mail side of it falls far short of the rest of the script. Maybe I am wrong, I do not know but maybe I am not.
