Looking for a partner
Hi all; after looking over and thinking about this plugin stuff,
i decide to do all my needed mods again directly in the source-code.

Maybe someone of you has the knowledge to do my mods as plugins:

For example:

- build_category_columns: use another number for every cat or use the standard
- build start.html: i use another page as xyz.com/index.html; and there is a link to see the home.html (/pages/index.html)
- different queries for start.htm, home.htm and the single catpages or all catpages under a certain cat
- build include-files at first when building; then use this files inside the templates
- build include-files outside the links-dir for other programs to use
- a whole access-system for users to set different accesses to other areas
- shopsystem
- user-database for digichat.com
and some more.

Robert

This should probably go in the paid modifications forum because you are asking a lot and I'm not sure that people will do them for free.

It seems you misunderstand me;
I have done all this stuff for myself on 1.13 and on 2.04.

If itīs only for myself im very happy with my mods; i have for all them a small docu
and if i need one of this modifications i do it just in minutes.

But i want to give out the codes to all others and i think it should be done as plugs and not as modifications, cause
updating is always a big problem on this way.

Do you understand now? Or do you think i should pay for plugs to give them to others? Shurely not.
If there is noone interested, itīs ok; i have all the things i need ;-)

I'm trying to coordinate this sort of thing, starting with the ratings/review mod.

I've had some things slowing me down on my end lately. Hopefully they are finally easing up.

Hi Robert,

Well i can't help u as i don't know any yet about plugins.

I just have 1 question:

U talk about 'my mods'. How did u do those mods? Using globals? Or editing the source files?

I am doing all modification atm with globals, because modify the source can be tricky with a update. In the old links (without sql) i did a lot modification in the source but somehow in links sql i only do simple 'mods' using globals.

Normally i do all in source;

now i try to understand plugs, cause itīs always terrible to compare the old and new code when a update arrives.

Robert, if you publicate these mods in the Forum, I'm sure there will be somebody who will release some of them as plugin.
