Ian's Pluging Users - Please Read
Hi Everyone:

I am still without a computer of my own, and I apologize for the delay in updates to my plug-ins. I trust all is going well. I hope to do updates on all the plug-ins when I am up and running again in September sometime. For now bug fixes only where possible.

Support

I am going to be opening a support ticket system in September sometime hopefully as well. This will be for other services and not just plug-ins, (paid support). I will continue to offer free support as I have been, whenever and however I can fit it in :). I am going to move the plug-in support forums from iUNI to macscripts in a hidden area. The reason for this is simple: Its easier for me to use and export data from Gossamers forum script than the free forum script on iUNI. Eventually (when I become rich) I will update the iUNI forum also. So please goto http://www.macscripts.com/...bin/forum/gforum.cgi sign up, and I will let you into the hidden support forum for the products you own. If your username is not the same as it is on here, them please pm me so I can match the two usernames up. I hope I have not confused everyone and sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks!

Yeah thanks katabd. I didn't run off or anything, my computer was just getting old and finally "kicked the bucket". I am hoping to be up and back to normal in early September, so stay with me!Smile

Graphic (Screenshot) Tutorials for Plug-In Users

I have added a graphical tutorial (the first of many) on how to modify a setting using the EM or UMSettings table in Editor Monitor and Usermonitor.

I hope that these tutorials will make up where my documention is not clear, or is simply lacking.

The tutorial is on my new support forum. Please let me know if you think this kind of thing is useful.

Hi rayhne, I hyperlinked the word support forum, It may not be that obvious beacuse of the color.

In any case, Andy is right the link in my signature block will take you there. Once you sign up, I'll give you access to the plugin support areas. Sorry for all the hassels.

Yeah, sorry about all the Mac stuff for non Mac users. I understand it is painful for you to look at. But once you are registered etc, you could always just bookmark the hidden area :)

I have updated the version history for most of my plugins and posted it. I am not going to post version updates on this forum anymore, as it really only affects owners of the plug-in who have access to my own support forum. Also, I have created a suggestion area on this forum for new plugins for anyone (not just current plugin users).

I find things are getting easily lost on the massive amounts of posting that goes on here, so other than notices, I will keep the detials of updates, suggestions, tips, news etc to my own forum.

For potential buyers of my plugins, just visit www.iuni.com/custom where I will be puting up features, screenshots etc for each plugin. Work has begun on the Editor Monitor site at http://www.iuni.com/custom/EM/em3.html.

Thanks.
