Thanks for the reply!

I tried that one already - in the install.pm - $path/admin/config.php - it is already adding the forward slash when it is looking for the config.php.

Does it matter that my forums are under another account (username) than my lsql?
/home/(username1)/www/cgi-bin/directory/ (for lsql version 2.1.2)
/home/(username2)/www/forums/admin/ (for vBulletin version 2.3.5)

If so is there any way to work around this.

If that doesn't matter any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

It does matter. Just make sure username1 can access (read) username2's files.

Does anyone know of a way to give access to the other account permanently (whenever we have server upgrades it resets to no access between the 2 accounts) or another work around.

Brewt,

We were having problems with permissions between the two accounts so we just moved the forums to the same account as the LSQL.

1. It installed fine but now when I try to log in in LSQL as a user I get invalid name/password for every user(including admin)? I logged into vbulletin just fine but I'm not logged into LSQL?

2. When I try to create a new user in LSQL I get
Authentication Error: You can only create users from the vBulletin admin panel.
I can create a new user in vBulletin, but it doesn't carry over to LSQL.

my versions are:
LSQL 2.1.2
vBulletin Version 2.3.5
Auth_vBulletin 1.7 - I've noticed in a few posts that this version was upgraded for vBulletin 3.x - does that have anything to do with the problem

Try turning on debug, logging in and looking at the webserver's error log. Perhaps it can't find the vBulletin user files.

I am facing the same problem. Have you ever found a solution?

We ended up moving our forums onto the same domain. From what I gathered and tried, vbulletin and LSQL couldn't be set up on 2 different domains(at least for us).
