[ UPDATE ] Cron_Manager v3.0
Hi,

I'm pleased to announce the release of Cron_Manager v3.0. This is mainly aimed for Gossamer Links 3.x, but will also still work on prior versions (i.e LinksSQL 2.x+)

Details: http://www.ultranerds.com/...Cron_Manager_v3_L93/

This plugin aims to make it as simple as possible to set up and run cron jobs. New support for Gossamer Links 3+, along with a new feature, which lets you setup the cron for the Expiry .pl script.

A slick new CSS design also makes it a much easier to use interface.

..and the blurb:

PRICE: $40

Plugin Description

This plugin aims to make it as simple as possible for you, with you only having to simply click buttons ;) NPH-build.cgi can be setup to run whenever you want, with literally 2 clicks. A slick new CSS design also makes it a much easier to use interface, and a much quicker system (not to mention the module itself being cut by almost 50% in size, by re-using routines, instead of having several copies of the same code scattered in different functions around the plugin. Ok. So far I found this problems.

I have some crons added before Cron manager. I can see that crons in "Other crons" list.

When I add new cron from cron_manager it's ok. But when I try to delete this cron (added from cron_manager) I got 406 error code in browser.

Second thing, when I delete one crontab that was previously added (not from cron_manager) then all my crons are deleted from system!

Regards.

Yes.

This bug should be fixed in the latest version (3.1). There was an error in the "deleting" routine, which was matching everything - and not putting anything back into the cronjob list :( Thanks for pointing it out.

Hi,

I just tried this (on your site), and it works fine :/

Can you give me an exact method of what you are doing? Also, what browser are you using? (not sure that would be the problem - but can sometimes do weird things)

This is my steps.

Go to Recip Link (on Cron-Manager menu), choose monthly, click "CONTINUE", got message "Updated cron Cron has been updated successfully..."

Click on "Other Crons", click on "DELETE" right to that new cron, got message

Code:
Internet Explorer cannot read this webpage format
HTTP 406
What you can try:
Go back to the previous page.

More information

This error (HTTP 406 Not Acceptable) means that Internet Explorer was able to receive information from the website you visited,
but the information was not in a format that Internet Explorer can display.

For more information about HTTP errors, see Help.

Using IE7.

P.S. If I delete it through RECIP LINK menu, then it's ok.

Hi,

OK, I think its your server at fault (not sure why though I'm afraid)

I just tried using FileMan to make a change to Cron_Manager.pm, and got the same error:

Quote:
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /cgi-bin/imenik/admin/admin.cgi could not be found on this server.

Apache/1.3.39 Server at unreal-net.com Port 80

SO, I don't think its just related to Cron_Manager - seems something odds going on with your server Unsure
