Personal Page Plugin IN USE
Just thought everyone would like to see Jag's/Gossamer's Personal Page plugin (http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...orum.cgi?post=286271) in use here:

http://www.pcprofiles.com

You can view some of the links to the personal pages from the homepage.

I was fortunate enough to find it because it offered to do exactly what I needed. I also want to extend a "Thanks" to John (Jag) for all the help he's given to get this up, tweaked, and running!

Hi Philip,

That's a lot of hard disk space for pictures of limecat Wink. Nice set-up you have there. In France the AMD 6400 processors are only now becoming available in main outlets at around or slightly below the 100 euros mark which was a psychological step for me ! Still on an Athlon at the moment...

I did try Vista a few months ago and couldn't get drivers for most things like the Logitech webcam etc.

Hope your having fun with 'Derry' the beast, LOL ;)

'Derry' is the name of a mysterious town in many of Stephen King's novels (most notably 'It').

Actually two of the hard drives are reserved for WinXP/Vista, the other two are used for my PVR and ripped DVDs which can be streamed across my WLAN to watch on the HDTV or other PC's in the house.

I spent about $1200 on that PC... thank God I didn't buy a pre-fab or I would have easily spent twice or three times that. When I do new builds though, I normally only replace motherboard, cpu, and RAM (usually costs around $400 total) but this time around I didn't recycle anything. All new parts.

Yes, Vista doesn't have great driver support, but it's considerably better than XP Pro x64 edition. The consumer release isn't until January of next year so there's plenty of time for drivers to be written.
