it only happens when you click the "view your post" link directly after making a post. And then, it's the first post in the thread that gives you edit/delete options, and all of your own posts. you can't, of course, actually edit/delete that post.

Is there some way to have an _uploaded_ image displayed in the message rather than as a separate attachment or linking to an image on website somewhere else?

Yes. Read the "Get Markup Help" button above you when posting. The syntax is

Replace <> with []

Cheers

That is a link to another site. I was looking for a way to actually upload an image to _this_ site for display.

Jerry Su aka Widgetz (very talented young boy -- as per old threads)
Frank8 would turn up interesting information in regards to Widgetz.

-- history folks history !!

1st generation ... things I remember from old ...
2nd generation slightly before and after the above folks, birth of a smiley, and why I advocate moderator special forums.
3rd generation ... the rise of a new legend PaulW aka RedRum.

That 3rd line ... Tongue

my time line!

What exactly do you consider first generation? I've been a registered user since August 4, 1999 under one of my pior user names, and I spent a few months hanging around before that.

the above time line ... "my time line..." sorry ... I remember JPDeni, bobsie, Old Money ... hehe Eliot when he was asking more than helping! Even Alex back then would visit the other forums much more often.

Sorry Blush

but it makes sense since Links v2 and DBman are pretty much ironed out and great programs. No real need for you (the big boss) to stop by as like back then.
