.......however........my sister knows Craig David (R&B singer) and is great friends with the sister of Darren Campbell...the guy who won silver in the 100m at the Olympics.

Ugh...I hate sounding conceited....but anyway it's my sisters claim to fame not mine....in fact I don't know anyone famous.

I think the most famous person I've met is John Monday who used to read the news about 10 years ago...LOL

Famous people side: I got 2 not in the family but met.
1 is still the reigning top SUMO man Akebono -- I drank, danced, and chatted for close to 3 hours with at his VIP table at a disco once -- of course he payed -- entrance and all.
Another guy, is a famous Japanese singer, before he broke through to the top met by accident at a bar and spent 2 days drinking and chatting.
My mother's Uncle was knighted by the Queen or Denmark and another of her uncles is (if still living) a 6 or 7 th prince from Sweden -- for what it's worth.
My Great Grandfather -- if family history is true wrote the Nationalistic German Anthem, now it's banned !!!

Me, I begged, borrowed and worked my way through University ... still barely getting by, oh well, knowing famous people doesn't give you anything except a few good stories to tell other people. Shocked

--------------------
Jagerman ..... hmmmm .... Jager Meister that couh syrup liquor from German Wink I bet.
RedRum .... I keep getting this pirate image .... a red bearded fellow .... also Drew mentioned stephen king ... I wonder if it has to do with the icon on the left side of the post area ???

--------------------
QooQ -- friend gave it to me and have NO clue to what it means !!!

openoffice + gimp + sketch ... Smile

I want to know what jagerman means...

Originally, it was jager (uhg, actually JaGeR) - which came from my initials, JGR, but when I signed up for an e-mail address and website on geocities a few years ago, jager@geocities.com was taken, so I added "man" on the end... hence, JaGeRMan. Later I thought the capitalization looks stupid, so I made it jagerman.

Now let's hear about "RedRum." Actually, I'm guessing it came out of that Stephen King novel - "The Shining".

Code:
perl -e 'print scalar reverse "RedRum"'

Yeah, I know, but it is purely coincidental. Although, I do have some german ancestors who were riverboat salesmen on the rhine several hundred years ago; the name "Rhinelander" had to come from somewhere :)

yeah, but Jack's door scene is sooooo classic.

Basicly, don't watch any stephen king movie they basically all suck!

Christine and Stand by Me (aka The Body) were about the closest to the books. Carrier ... hmmm not that bad for a movie.

His long stories also seem to end to quick. 1,200 pages building up to a climax and the last 150 pages or so to wrap everything up ... total let down.

War and Peace was something I wanted to go and on ... hehe, that's one long book as it is.
