Announcements [-] - Forum Rules, General Announcements Etc.

Why is the extra hyphen in there in the category title? I didn't put it there so the program muxt be generating it.

They're there for expanding and collapsing the category. You can remove it if you don't want it by editing the category_list.html template.

I knew the expanding part. I am referring to the second one that is just a hyphen.

Mt test cats are in this fashion:

Cat Title
As in: Announcements

and

Description
As in: Forum Rules, General Announcements Etc.

No hyphens. They (extra hyphen) are on every title of every forum category

That hyphen is also part of the template - if you look at category_list.html and look for cat_desc you'll see:

<%if cat_desc%> - <%unescape_html cat_desc%><%endif%>

Editing the template and removing it will get rid of it.
