Email microsoft? Seriously, the advanced editor uses a control by microsoft that is not available on the Mac. Not much we can do about it I'm afraid.

Cheers,

Alex

Thanks for the reply.

I understand now. I was hoping that it was just a javascript problem.
It's too bad that I'm on a non-microsoft supported system. Frown

hmm ... I wonder if there is a unix implementation/hack of that control?

Hi Alex.

My new MacScript forum is 95% Mac users of course. So I would be most interested in exploring a solution to this.

I'd be happy to write a mod, plug-in or whatever, but I am not sure where to even start. Would it mean a re-design of the editor? Or having a seperate editor for Mac (which could be added by a plugin) if the code sensed which OS was present or somethingn like that.

Unsure

This is really complexed stuff and something that I doubt can be done with a plugin (I may be wrong). A control is compiled code, like a .dll but not quite.

I have written dll before, but a long time ago.

I am hoping there is an equivalent or alternative method. Maybe someone could explain which functions are requiring this proprietry dll?
