Yeah, Ive taken a look and can't see the problem. The group exists with the correct id 2522....hmm.

For existing installations, how about having the user provide the base root to their installation, and then letting the installer grab all the other directory information?
For non-technical users, terms like "FTP Admin Path", "Path to CGIs", "URLs to CGIs" may just cause more confusion. Uploading the install.dat and install.cgi is easier in that regard. All you have to do is provide "Path to Existing Installation admin area".

Program worked, however it did not install the files. I got up to the point of copying both files and starting to install... but then I get an error message which I cant get past.

However, I have been able to install through the ?lite=1 mode of running the install.cgi.
I dont know if all the errors I get while running gforum are due to this installation, but I cant install it in any other way, so I stick with the errors and try to fix them.
