Could anybody tell me roughly how long it would take to install and get up and running live Gossamer forum on a clean (nothing else installed) Windows 2k server?

From personal experience, as long as you don't run into any major obstacles, then about 10 minutes to install.
To get up and running depends on how many forums you'll be adding and whether you want to customize the templates.
