search engine friendly templates not working
We've used the mod rewrite for search engine friendly templates and our forum posts had been ranking (each post ranking with it's title tag) with Google, Yahoo.,Msn, etc. but all of a sudden none of the individual posts are ranking - just a handful of our forums (page with list of posts).
For example:
Red dress for a second wedding
used to appear as the number one result in google when we would type in Red dress for a second wedding
Now, it's nowhere.

However, our forum categories seem to be getting indexed:
http://www.idotaketwo.com/...Dresses_/_Attire_F1/
although not ranking as high as they once were (this is on page 2 results with google.

Any idea on what might have happened?

if you didn't do any changes in the last few weeks.... i would wait it out... well at least for a few weeks.

I think big "G" is having some minor issues, and they are working them out.... seems they have a bit of a spamming issue going on or something

Right, it's all of our categories but none of the individual posts.

If you look out there on Google, there are plenty of sites running GForum that are completely spidered without the search friendly templates. The links to the posts are to the gforum.cgi file. I run the search engine templates because I installed them a long time ago, but I never have understood their purpose. If Google didn't spider links to .cgi files it would be different, but they obviously do.
