Question about your nice site custimization (it looks great).

Where were you able to change the row color for Category and then Sub-category titles? Any tips appreciated.

nice job on the site ... lot's of thought obviously went into the forums and design.

Hope this doesn't raise a stir ... but how about making the brown into a green like the island? The brown sort of distracts me ...

I have:

where c_medlight is the subcategory color. This was a long time ago, if it doesn't work for some reason let me know and I'll look into it more. :)

Where is there brown? There's orange that matches the sky behind the island, but no brown.

hmmmm .... my studio display monitor is prety good on color. OSX

let's see what I got here (Mac view perspective -- hope you don't mind)

top area with image.
studio viosion -- shows an orange along the left/right of the image
sony mulitican 17sf II -- not tweeked (monitor colors) show a darker orange closer to the background of the images

the apple monitor is showing the biggest contrast between background and image .... while the sony covers the difference ...

graphic cards are almost identically ... same ATI but the sony is on the version with TV output ...

row with forum name - threads - posts ...
you're right ... it's the same rusty orange as the background around your main image.
this is the area I mentioned above ... green didn't work? (just wondering ... thought it would blend a little more in a top down type of thing .... since you have the ocean color theme going on )

the island image is great! I really like it!


Please don't get me wrong ... I'm not bitching ... just mentioned what I thought

Macs just have a darker view of the world. Not much you can do about it and the numbers (at least for me) don't really justify worrying about it

I got a question for you. Do you have your Photopost and the Gossamer membership data tied together?

Inquiring, non-programmer type, minds want to know!

Yeah, I had to hack the photopost script to death to do it, but it wasn't too difficult. It's a quality script if you're looking for that sort of thing.

hehe ... oppostite acutally ... seems mac OS likes a brighter ?? color ?? (fogot the actual word but ...) than M$ does.

True apple only shares 5% of the market.

5% is pretty generous, I think it's more like 2.5% domestically? Maybe that accounts for the dim view from Jobs land

It's a matter of perspective, my images look dark on a mac and mac images look blown out to me...I can't think about it too long or I get a headache.
