Deleting posts
Maybe I'm a little confused... but when I go to delete a post as a moderator, there are two submit buttons. One says "remove post" and other "delete post". Are there supposed to be two submits? If so what's the difference between the two as it's not obvious by any mean.

Hi,

Yes, there are meant to be two. Delete Post will erase the post, but leave it as a "Post deleted" message, and leave all replies to it intact. Remove Post will actually remove it and all replies completely from the system.

Cheers,

Alex

Ahh... "remove" and "delete" have essentially the same meaning. If "remove post" was "truncate thread" the difference would be much clearer, IMHO.

Don't say "ahh" like that, I told you the answer earlier lol Smile (j/k)

I think "Empty" and "Delete" ?

'Delete Post'
'Delete post and thread hereafter'

It doesn't do that though, it only deletes replies to the specific post being deleted (I think)
