moving "Re:"

moving "Re:"
moving "Re:" through the admin panel doesn't seem to work.

well, actually moving the user_name but still the "Re:" should go.

also ... and way to move "RE:" to the end of the line before the "in reply to"?

Not all languages have the same grammar structure as English Angelic

I did find that "Re:" is being set by Write.pm but didn't see anything at all in the templates. Frown

Hmm, unfortunately this isn't easy - it's currently designed to look for "Re:" (defined in language.txt) at the beginning of the line, and optionally the username.

There might be a way to do this in the templates, but I expect that the [username] option would cause difficulties.

I'll see about adding a Re: position option to our next release.

Unsure
thought this would be the case.

Hmmmm what about the admin section not moving it around ? I can't seem to be able to move it all currently.

moving "Re:" - [Re: QooQ] In reply to
The setting only controls what happens for new posts, because the position of the [username], Re:, etc. is only a suggestion the forum displays for people writing replies. The user can still change things how they want, for example see the subject of this post.

ahhh I'm a little dense but I get it.

I was under the impression that this was dynamic and recursive ... Angelic

make the change and then post from there on out ... Laugh

thanks!
