Editor in Safari?
Does the new advanced editor now work in Safari?

No, as Safari is a closed-source, non-Mozilla-based browser. The editor should, however, work on Camino (formerly Chimera).

Eh? Safai engine is open-source KHTML so any developer can have acess to the source code or at least the rendering engine?

Though it uses some open-source parts, Safari itself isn't an open-source browser. Although KHTML is a decent, fast engine, it tends to lag quite far behind IE and Gecko (Mozilla's engine) in terms of support for javascript, and contenteditable, which are a huge part of what make up the editor.

OK. Well I'm out of my depth here, so I'll just have to trust you on this one. :-)

Shame, though. I kinda like Safari.
