Question about import.pl --append

Question about import.pl --append
If I have two or three forums set up in GForum and I choose import --append, do I have any controll over which forum the messges get imported into?

No, a similar forum structure will be created in Gossamer Forum, and the messages imported into that structure. If existing forums exists, then it will just add the posts into those forums.
