The fromer link will show Can't Post alluding to the fact that you have to login again, which is NOT the appropriate response....

AND the second link with WWW in it, you DO NOT have to login again!

THUS, there is STILL indeed a bug with the manner in which cookie and session variables are SET!!!

Works here too...
maybe you have an old cookie or something? Try clearing your cookies out (or just the gossamer ones) and relogging in?

btw, i'm using Mozilla 0.9.3 linux...

I know what I saw.

I did test a couple of times and it works (as Adrian verified).

don't want to add to any problems, but even after a full system install, on a BSD based system, I have no troubles. I even pasted in the links, clicked on the other links offered and ... no problems ... ???

oh well, just a post to say,"no problem" .... Angelic

Both links work for me. Maybe you just need to clear cookies/temp files and relogin?

Yep...seems like I had an old GT cookie stored. It works now...

Jason/GT, you might want to consider adding a note in the "faq" page (which there should a more visible one than simply a "markup help" page), about deleting old cookies...

oh, actually I am... I'm still using 0.9.3 at work, but 0.9.4 at home. I noticed when I first installed it images kept on not showing up on first load with gforum, but now it's seemed to have stopped doing it.

it's a nice step for an alternate browser, yet there's a lot of little things which is annoying. For example, https pages never load for me in mozilla. Pages like hotmail don't work, and i find that lots of links refuse to open. Other than that, i must agree it's pretty nice.

ack, is it me or do the buttons for code/reply/etc not put it in the position you have the cursor now (well with mozilla anyways)?

So it looks like that big rant directed at me was infact undeserved Unsure

Paul, that's what I was experiencing the other day when I IM'ed you. After I cleared my cache and cookies it worked again.

Yeah, except for all the convulted HTML I have to write on these pages so that it shows up properly in it...

you would think (and in fact you can on anything other than Mozilla) that you could write:

a&nbsp;b&nbsp;c&nbsp;d&nbsp;<img...> without it ever wrapping the line. Guess what Mozilla does? It wraps where the image is. Netscape 4 was worse though, <nobr> really screwed up when inside a table. Of course, the solution for this was to convert everything that cannot wrap by replacing all spaces with &nbsp;'s, then since that didn't work for mozilla, also wrapping <nobr>'s around the entire thing.

ARGH! MadMadMad

Don't tell me how wonderful Mozilla is Mad

Oh well... Mozilla _IS_ better than Netscape 4 at least. And better than Opera, and whatever that thing is that the W3C came up with (I can't remember the name - Emaya or something like that?).

Hmm. My Mozilla can load https pages just fine. Hotmail is not a problem either.

You are right about the first load of this forum, though! When I first visited it didn't want to load the GTForum logo on the top right. A quick reload fixed that for some reason.

I didn't realise that coding for Mozilla was such a pain. I did notice that it really doesn't like tables very much. It has great difficulty laying them out properly. It also handles HR shading a bit odd. But that's all I've noticed thus far.

Amaya was the name of the browser from the W3C. The idea behind it was just to be a testing platform for new technologies. I don't think it was ever meant to be for mainstream browsing.

Opera has gone way downhill!....Gave up on that one a long time ago.

Cheers
