I created a test forum that only admin could access but a few days later changed all permissions to read/reply/post for all users but as a guest it shows the "Post New" button but when I click it, it says "Guest posting not enabled"

Check to see if you have created an account with status "Guest". Guest posting requires a guest user to associate the post with.
