Deleting old posts in a very large forum
I run a forum that has 27432 registered users and 280962 posts in 37174 threads. I cant use the delete old posts feature in the admin menu because my browser times out with the long time it takes to run.

Is there a way to run this on the command line?

Most of the commands which are run from the web can be run from shell by executing the cgi with the url string as the arguments. For example, if the link is admin.cgi?foo=bar;bar=baz, then you can run the same thing from shell as ./admin.cgi 'foo=bar;bar=baz'. It will probably return html, but that shouldn't be an issue.
