Cleaning up HTML source code?

Cleaning up HTML source code?
Not a major thing, but when I view the source for a gforum page, lots of lines are smushed together. Is there any way to keep this from happening, to make the source a wee bit easier to navigate?

In your admin area, go to "Setup -> Miscellaneous -> compress " and set this to "Do not compress output".

It is designed to remove as much excess whitespace as possible without changing the content in order to reduce the amount of data sent to the browser. On the negative side, as you have found, turning it on makes it very difficult to work with the source.
