Changing email templates to use SEO urls
Hi,

We use SEO urls like this http://autoforums.carjunky.com/Automotive_Repair_C1/ on our forum. I haven't changed our email templates to reflect this but, what happens is people click on the email template and then get forum errors...

I'm looking at what could I use to show this type of url in my emails from my forums.

Mmm, without playing around, you would try:

http://www.yourdomain.com<%cat_path($cat_id)%><%escape_name($forum_name)%>_F<%forum_id_fk%>/<%escape_name($post_subject)%>_P<%post_id%>/#<%post_id%>

However, I'm not sure if $cat_id or $forum_name are passded in to that email.

Cheers
