I would like to add this line in the legend of my forum:

= Post with new replies

Which tag should I use? I tried <%if legend_new_replies%> and <%if new_replies%> but it doesn't work.

I would like to add this line too (in forum_view.html):

" = New post with new replies"

But still don't know which tag I must use ( <%if legend_???%> ).

Sidetrack a bit.

I was going through the list of images and I saw this

Hot new thread with replies.

Just wondering. Is it possible that you have never read the thread before(hence new thread) but the replies to that thread has been read before(hence no new replies)???

was wondering something a little different ... there are forums I haven't been to recently ... I dropped in once and all are yellow ... of course never been read but IF I go back in a day or two ... the ones that were yellow are now white ... but the newest ones since my last visit are yellow (of course they are new).

Now ... why did the ones I haven't read before go white? Is there like a dated cookie on this?

There is a dated cookie-- I'm wondering if it would be too hard to turn that off too, I like to wait until I mark things before they become unlabeled.

Yup. If you are using the threaded post view and an expanded forum view, you can read a reply to a post before and without reading the post. Added in a hot thread, and you have a new post with read replies in a hot thread :)
