Poll plugin suggestion
Hi Ivan,

A feature suggestion for your poll plugin. The polls I run on iUNI have auto exipry (by date) where I can set the poll to run for 2 weeks, or 90 days etc. It would be nice to have self closing polls introduced into your plug-in.

That is a good idea, I will add it to the to do list for a future version. I guess you are aware of the fact that you can close a poll, although only manually at the moment.

A few questions:
-Who should be able to set the expiry time?
-Prolongation, and if so, who?
-Same expiry time for all polls, or individual per poll?

(I imagine the answers to the question Crazy, but tell me nonetheless...)

A=Either the creator and/or the admin

B=Overtime set by admin or moderator

C=Option (drop down) for expiry.

Example:

1, 7, 14, 30 days, end of calendar month

Hi Yogi,

Yes, Brian pretty much answered for me. Thanks for considering this BTW. Whenever you get around to it would be great.

I have made a postexiry plugin for a client, so it might be just a matter of putting the two things together to have post with variable expiration....

Hi Ivan,

Would you happen to have some loose code laying around there for images in a poll? Tongue

I couldn't help myself!

Thanks!

A drop down would be kind of user-unfriendly, I think it would be better if you could enter any amount of time (maybe within a maximum limit)
