uninstall and start over

uninstall and start over
i want to uninstall dbman sql and completely start over with a clean install. do i need to delete the tables that were created during the install first? then do i just delete the cgi directory that i installed to?

deleted the directories and re-installed with option to overwrite old db files. seems to have worked.
