Load Handling

Load Handling
When will the DBMan SQL start buckling? I need to design the site with at least 5000 pageviews per day in mind, and would like to have at least four times that as a safety buffer.
Would DBman SQL be able to handle that, say in a 10MB database?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Mike...according to Mysql's site ..they are running a database of 50 million records with unlimited simutanious users...so no the surface ...I would say you should be fine.....

I don't think that is totally accurate. I believe that MySQL runs similar to MSSQL, which allows for on average (of course varying by system/server resources) about 1,500 concurrent connections to databases.

Limits are determined by hardware, and the type of numbers you are referring to are well within mysql's limits on even basic hardware.
