Need to learn about perl paths
Hi all,

I'm trying to install DBman on a friends server, he claims it runs on unix and has perl 5. I'm getting an error when I try to load the page, and I'm guessing it's because the perl path in the db.cgi file is incorrect.

I don't know who the host is, so I can't ask them, I'm too much of a newbie to know if there's another way to find out. Should there be a file called 'perl' in the bin directory? Because there isn't, and I'm thinking my friend was lying when he said it suported perl.

Please help a tired and confused newb. :)

Your friend doesn't know who the host provider is?

You can try a few to see if one will work:

You should really find out who the host is and whether they even allow the use of running .cgi scripts.
