Field not adding

Field not adding
When I add a record one of the fields doesn't add but when I modify that record and insert the info for that field it includes it in the database. Why would it include the field in modify but not in add?

Forgot to mention this field is a textarea.

Can we take a look at your .cfg file. Be sure that all your fields that are defined in your .cfg file are also in your sub html_record_form.

Also be sure that the fields are numbered consecutively.
