I posted this in the installation area but got no replies. Can someone please help me:
I have a database set up for a online horse sim game to reg horses into. every thing is up and going but the view/search/list all option. When looking for a particular record it comes back "no search term specified"(list all) and "No records match search term"(I think on the view option. I know for sure the records are there as the records show up in default.db. I think the site the db is on runs unix and I use windows 95, the only changes made was according to jp-deny's site and I used the configurator from her site.
The default user is view only and a registered user is all but administration, I have full access to all options including administration. I want search set up so you do not have to check any of the match any, extact match ect ect areas near the submit button.
I would like to set the Reg# for exact match and every thing else for match any. How do I go about doing this.
I have saved the default.cfg and html.pl as text and will include links to them along with the main page of the database.
I set the debug on to see if that helps out finding what is wrong. I have checked JP Deni's and the dbman gossimer(?) help files and I dont understand. Do I have to make a seperate page that lists all options for searching with each record??? help would be greatly appreciated. If you do not want to post back here you can email me at :
