Split location of dbman and default.db

Split location of dbman and default.db
I was wondering if it is possible to have all the dbman files at one internet location and the database file at a totally different internet site.
I am wanting to keep the script secure yet the database accessible.

Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks,
VaLinda

I believe all the files need to be on the same server.

You can use the Net:FTP module found at http://www.cpan.org

If you're looking for the module, you need to search for Net::FTP.

If you're able to figure out how to install and use the module, more power to you! I would just keep the files on the same server.

It may already be on your server, though, so all you would have to do is figure out how to use it.

AnthroRules,

JP Deni is correct, this is over my head but I am willing to pursue it if you can give me a starting point. I found the information at the web site listed but it seems to be a directory of commands. I am not a programmer, can you give me a file structure to start with? (or something!)

Thanks,
VaLinda
