Is there any way or mod that will allow me to include data from a db database on a html page using html?

What I would like is a table on my page showing a number of records and then a number associated with them. Can this be done?

Any of you perl/db geniuses know how? :)

There's lots of stuff on SSI in past messages on the forum. I still haven't learned about it, but lots of people talk about it.

I would suggest trying a search in the DBMan Customization Forum for SSI. Start by going back 3 months or so. If you don't find anything in what you get returned, try 6 months or a year.
