Reset in Preview not resetting
I have set up a links and resources section at atlanticgateways.com and have included the Preview Record Mod. In preview, the Reset/Clear form button does not work.
Any thoughts?

What do you mean "it doesn't work"?

When I first enter information and press reset, the form is cleared. When I go to preview and press reset, nothing happens, nothing changes.

On another matter, when I enter information into the form and go to preview, all the info will appear except the description text - everything that I typed is replaced by the word admin.

Reset problem still there. Resolved strange appearance of admin- seems that I did not change the default user ID (9) so that the word admin appeared. Found out when I changed the user ID field to 3. I then got admin in my e-mail field.

I set the user ID to -1 and am now wondering what unseen problems I may have?

The reset button resets the form back to its most recent information. When you preview the record, the form is loaded with the information from the "add" screen as its default text. Pressing "Reset" merely sets it back to this, it does not clear the form.

The ID field option is only used if you want to associate a record with the user who entered it. (if you wanted to allow only the owner to edit it, for example)

If you do want to use it, you should make a new field called UserID and set the ID field option to that. If you don't want to use it, leave it as "-1"
