External txt mod
Hi,

I don't currently use dbman, but was looking at the External Text Mod by JPDeni (??sorry if I got your name wrong) Anyway, I was wondering if there is anyone who has modified this for links? I'm not completely sure what or how the mod is used, because I'm not familiar with dbman, but I'm going to assume it's primary purpose is to save db space for additional info on each link. I was trying to do something similar with links awhile back, but had problems with getting a tag within a tag to work, (I wanted to use an include, because it's the only way I could think of doing it). Anyway, if anyone has any ideas how I may be able to impliment this for links I'd love to hear em! Thank you.

I think your best bet would be to post your question in the Links forum. I think there may be others who use both scripts and may be able to help you find a solution.

You may also want to post your question in the CGI/Perl forum to see if anyone would be able to help you.

Yeah, the main reason I posted it in here is because I don't really see JPDeni in the links forums and I know it was created by her...so I thought I'd give it a shot! I'll leave it here for a few days and see if I get any responses....if not I'll just repost in a different forum. Thanks for the info though.

The reason I don't go to the Links forum is that I don't know anything about Links.
