I don't see anything special about it. Looks like all this version uses is the short/long view.

Is there something that I am missing here. The only cool thing I saw was the number of record out of total, and also the "Next" and "Previous" links. Is that it?

Smile

Good job though.

Yes, this modification will be distributed. I promise!

The modifications to make so that it functions with the DBMan-standard are minimum.

For the time being it is necessary that she is tested well.

Later I go to give it to JPDeni for code improvements.

Still I have some additions to make.

Because this administrator is to be constructed to function in
Intranet was developed in Windows.

When posted in internet for public access some errors had been
generated.

Some of those errors already had been fix to run on the unix server.

I think that all the basic functions are now to function.

They test a little, please, if you have questions I will try to answer.

Note: JPDeni you can now made your JPD Table, I have deleted the old table.

I'm glad you deleted the JPD table. I tried, but got an error.

It looks very nice and I can see that there would be a real use for this. Smile

Pulido,
This is a great project. I have a lot of data bases and search engines that I maintain daily and it is so hard to remember all the pieces let alone using win/98 to "mouse" all over the place to check on things. This is such a nice idea to have everything all in one place.

Question:
I noticed a screen...
Database File Information
that had "view" that allowed a view of all files, etc. Is there an "edit" like this on one screen that one can click on to edit ... say the password (as admin of course). It would be nice to have the password file print out as a table with all the users in a row and the permission fields lined up under each so that one could easily edit the permission fields.

Again, nice work!! Smile

For some reason I can't seem to find that address. Is there an IP Address that I can use to see this outstanding piece of work ..?

For the time being this part is alone to see files.

The modification for table of *.pass is possible with easiness, the
edition of this file can be catastrophic.
It must be edited in menu USERS.

I do not see nobody test this application.

But it has good new features.
Several bugs fixed.
Copyright Notice of DBMan is added to the "*.cfg" and "*.def" files.

Database Menu:
Last modification date and time on every file.

Tables Menu:
Backup and restore tables you specify.

Files Menu:
Now you can view or edit the content of the files, but, be care.

Great! Looks like you worked out the kinks! If you are willing and able, it would be a great resource to put in the Resource Center!

Smile

I especially like the information tables. Very useful!

Although...for the Table Definition screen, is there a way to add more fields?

When the definition is saved and you choose Definition again on the menu
always is added a new blanc field to be added.

If you erase the name of the field then it is eliminated.

I have send the code to JPD.

I think, and asked for, it to put in the Resource Center.

Another question...Does this mod allow you to add new fields into existing database files after adding fields in the db_def section of the default.cfg file?

That would be great if this mod dynamically adds default values and delimiter characters for new fields in existing database files.

Wow!!

That is a h*** of a thing, Pulido!

If the answer to Eliot's question about adding/removing fields from existing databases is "yes," then I'll be floored.

Nice job!

It is not that huge of deal since I wrote a stand alone script for adding new fields into existing database files. However, it doesn't add more than one field at a time. It would be a nice add-on to your mod, Pulido.
