I have been searching for hours to find a post that I know I have seen somewhere around here! It explained how to add more than the UserID, password and permissions to the password file. Anyone recall where the thread is...or know what needs to be modified to be able to add stuff like an account name, the users FULL name and thier email address? The additional couple items for the user profile could probably go in a different db I guess...but it seems logical to put them with the username and password so it could all be pulled up and modified. The ACCOUNT NAME would be added to the login screen (Account name, Username, and Password) and would (hopefully!!) be used to direct the user to a database of the same name. (if account name was Policies, that name would be passed as the value of db=xxxxx and load that database. Is this screwy thinking??)
Also, is it possible to set additonal permissions for things beyond view, add, delete and modify? In the same way that only the links show up for those thigs if you permission, I would like to show (or not show) links to things like "Reporting" (a view of how many records have been added by who, on what days, etc, ect). I guess it could be assigned exclusively to the admin, but it would be nice to have a checkbox so that the admin could control who would get permission.
