how about a GT survey script linked into registered users in Links SQL?

Multipage surveys, different text entry formats, radio buttons etc. Results stored in DB. Select whether or not to display graphic instant results.

I wouldn't mind if it was just a separate survery script that didn't link into anything!

I'd want one that I could pop open when people first come to the site, then once they fill it in it won't show again to that same ip address.

Something I've been wanting to do for a while but haven't got round to it.

I think it would be better first to release old projects (GT Community) before starting new projects...

Brahms. I think you were a bit harsh on him Angelic

There has obviously been a lot of desire for information regarding the community plugin and I think this is top of mosts people's priority list at the moment, although don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I disagree with people posting threads with new script ideas.

You never know though, there may be another staff member lurking who will take on this project Smile

I didn't think I was harsh at all Angelic. I only said the post wasn't constructive towards the new script idea - and it wasn't.

Start a new thread for complaints or to vent disappointment about other scripts. Some people might want this one more than community and therefore consider it more important.

Like meeeeeeeeeee. Wink

Matt,

you are right. I also wonder about such postings. The thread loose the topic.
It's not funny that a lot of postings around the Forum does not get any reply, and the "experts" waste their time in this way. Frown

Re: [Sir Up] Survey In reply to
Different features I'd like the script to have would be...

1. Multiple survey ability.
2. Different 'pop' or javascript up code creator so you could add a different survey to different pages - have the script create the appropriate code.
3. Vote tracking by ip number, with the ability to limit per day, week, month etc.
4. Results graphing on seperte page.
5. Ability to show results on voting form.

still thinking of others...
