Will "and" search be fixed in the new Links SQL?
I'm hoping that the searching problem with Links SQL will be fixed in the new version. I'm referring to the problem that you can't seem to do a search with "and". In other words if you try to set up a search that looks for "university" and "california", it will bring back every link that has either "university" or "california", not just those that have both terms. Does anyone know if this will be addressed,or if there is already a fix out there?

There is a problem with passing the "and".

If you use:

+university +california

The search will work.

Instead of using "and" you need to use "+".

Instead of "not" you need to use "-"

Pugdog, is there any way to set it up on the search form so that this will work without users having to try to do this? I understand that you can put +something and then +something else in the search box, but is there any way to make this work within the search form so that users don't need to learn how to do this? Thanks for any help or insights you can provide!
