WS4LSQL is the title of a plugin I had someone help me create. I am now refining it, and am considering "productifying" it.
The plugin makes Links SQL work similar to the Google API, i.e., allowing for SOAP-based web services. The
WSDL-file bears resemblance to the Google WSDL-file, which makes it easy to create new clients (since there are a lot out there for Google api).
Example? Well,
here is a simple client using the WSDL-file above.
The plugin requires SOAP::Lite. Currently, the plugin requires some knowledge of WSDL and SOAP, and some fiddling around with LSQL, and is thus far from a "plug-and-play" plugin.
I see a number of ways to release the plugin:
- As an open sourced, free plugin
- As a commercial plugin
- (as an integrated part of LSQL 2.0 !)
If there are a few community members interested in joining me in making the plugin available and usable, I am willing to go open source with it. I may also be open for business proposals, of course

I mainly need Perl-skills, but of course we also need to dive into web services.
The first 5 people who gets in touch and shows an interest in this will get a review copy of what I got, so you can get started right away.
