DBman SQL 2.1.0
Nice to see the release of DBmanSQL. While testing the online-demo I realised that the demo include the shopping-script. I played around and it seems to be not finished. Can you give some informations about this?

Congratulations to Aki!! She is on the right way. This is what I'm waiting for !!

Hi,

This isn't a full fledged shopping cart, but more an example of how you can mix various tables together (Authors, Books, Categories, Users and Orders all joined together) using the Relationship feature. I wouldn't recommend people use it as a live shopping cart though.

Aki (who is a he), is working on a Shopping Cart plugin for Links SQL that has the order management needed to run a successfull site.

Cheers,

Alex

Does this mean that the plugin is designed only for Links and will not support DBman, or with other words, can I combine Links and DBman using the same future shopping-solution?

Hi,

The shopping cart plugin that Aki is working on is designed only for Links SQL. Once it's done, we'll look at reusing as much as possible to make it work with DBMan SQL.

Cheers,

Alex

Please give Aki the best conditions to finish the plugin soon, so that he (not she Unsure) can make a big step to realize a part of the 'community-script' we are waiting for. Am I right that this will go 'Hand in Hand' ??
