Question with SSI .shtml files ? Pls help
My server is Window NT - I don't know why each time I call the .cgi script (use code <!--#exec cgi="/cgi-bin/header.cgi" --> ) inside .shtml page then I got the text below :

HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Wed, 28 Nov 2001 06:54:27 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Content-type: text/html

It didn't happen on Unix server or some other Win NT server.

Hope someone can explain and tell me how to remove the text line above - Thanks so much !

New A.

That is because .shtml files are not configured out-of-the box in Windoz servers. You need to add .shtml as a file extension in your MIME Mappings via IIS (if you are using IIS).

SSI is on by default with IIS4 and off with IIS5

Anyway....

You should find the solution here:

Sorry, Paul...should've been more specific, but the problem still remains that this user does not have .sthml or .shtm file extensions mapped probably in the MIME settings.
