Localhost Security Possible ???
Hello Dear Friends
Is it possible to protect CGI-files on Localhost ??

I am creating a Hotel-Attraction-Business guide for our Local little City.
The whole Website will be driven by CGI operated Database and Links Search-Engine.

I would have a representative visit the local businesses with a Laptop computer where Unix-Apache and Perl-CGi will be installed and running as Local Host.
All CGI and Database files are located under:
C://Program_Files/Apache_Group/Apache/Cityguide/cgi-bin

Now I would like to password protect these files so that they can be operated but that the Source can not be stolen or copied out of this traveling Laptop computer.

Is this possible and How ???
Thanks in advance.
